Hello, folks and Happy New Year to you! <3 Now we come into 2013 and I am hoping it can be as positive as 2012 was for me. Hopefully 2013 will be as positive as possible for everyone. :3 One thing I am aiming for is for more new Bu art. 2012 was a new low for Bu art. I got a bunch (of awesome) pics but definitely not as many as years past. The total slow-down of frequent blog entries is evidence of this! Hopefully that will change.

Lets start by bringing out some excess Christmas pics I received after my last entry! First is an icon I had commissioned from Astrozerk!

Squee. X3 lol I adore the face he makes here. I don’t know how to put it into words. He seems like he’s being both sneaky and excited all at the same time. That IS a lot of candy canes. The bag that holds them is green. I almost want to imagine he used his pants to hold them all. They look like they’re pretty darn close to overflowing, but he doesn’t give a crap at all. Astrozerk has become somebody I go right to when I want something that is Bu in his more accurate form. Astro always nails his personality, without fail. I didn’t get too much of a chance to use it this past Christmas… but in 11 months or so… you’ll be seeing it again somewhere maybe! This icon is part of a set with a Narugi icon connecting to this Bu icon. You can see it and the other icons of this set HERE! Check it out. :D

It’s a simple animation but cute beyond ration thought. XD; As with last year’s New Year’s blog entry, Pearly made some Hamster-version of Bu! With both images, I assume Bu (and with last year’s pic, Nar) got turned into a Hamster by a magic spell or something. He proceeded to not care and just went on with his day, grabbing some coffee and donuts. X3 I love love love his lil hanster hands, feet, and face. The wing design on his fur was the most clever element of this one! Bu does love donuts… as a Bu or a Hammy-Bu. And this right here is a blog exclusive! Enjoy! Thanks so much, Pearly! This provides ample evidence as to just how much Bu loves his donuts. He takes them crazy-seriously… with emphasis on crazy. lol The eyes looking opposite directions is the single best part to me. Oh and the smile. He has such an adorable smile here. Such a goof. Thanks to Neekko for making me cute Bu sketches that I can collect like a hoarder. <3

That’s it for today! 2013 is surely set to be a year of fun and new Bu art that I cannot wait to get and share with everyone who loves checking them out. ^3^ Since last entry, the Bu Blog reached 125,000 views!
