Hellohello, dear friends! Happy New Year 2012 to all of ya, or maybe yes, Happy Bu Year. X3 It’s always a Bu Year here at the Bu Blog. This is my special final blog of 2011, seeing how I have about 8 hours local time left for the year. That’s not all that’s special about today’s blog. THIS entry actually is my 100th entry! Yay me! I’ve actually written 100 posts of junk and Bu junk too. lol As I say with every achievement on the blog… Thanks to everyone who comes here and reads my rambling and oogles at the Bu art from all the talented folks! <3 Couldn’t keep going without ya. ;3

So without further ado, we have very different take on Bu and Nar from my good buddy, Pearlphoenix!

BEWARE! Cute fuzzy critters with tiny hands alert above this. Click with caution. XD; Pearly has been ultra-nice to me for years now, being one of the very first artists to draw Bu ever, back in 2007. This time, for Christmas, Pearly wanted to put a very alternate take on Bu and Nar. That’s right, sugar and caffeine addicted hamsters!! I think it’s bad enough that Bu can get hyper with donuts… but as a little rodent with a tiny heart? Oh my, he’d be downright nutty. XD The other clever thing is Bu’s white hair managed to make it onto the hamster form in a natural way! Really slick. :D This pic is adorable and colorful too. Gotta thank Pearly a ton for really doing something different but still a ton of fun. Hope you like how it looks as well. ^^

Finally we have another Christmas pic, this time from Coerul! ^^

Coerul has actually given me and Neek Christmas cards before, so this one is something to look forward to. I see a trend, Nar miserable from the neck up and Bu happily decorating the tree from above. XD It’s adorable, and water-colored too! I can’t not love this pic enough. Anyone who draws or gets commissions knows that nothing beats actually having a physical original copy of a work of art, no matter what it is. :D Coerul continues to bring about fun and funny Christmas cards for us. Can’t wait to see if anything will be popping up next year. X3 Thanks, Coerul!

Oh boy, what an interesting year it has been! Also an interesting 100 posts from the past couple years. :D I hope the next year will be just as interesting! This was actually not a half-bad year for me. I moved into a better house, went to Comic-Con again, and even compiled a really nice top-ten movies in 2011 list!
