Hello! Wow, I cannot believe I took so much time off from the Bu-Blog. I guess I can consider it a bit of a summer vacation, perhaps. It was a pretty rough couple of months but we’re now finally into the fall season, so things are looking up! All of the downtime also means I have a bit of a resupply of new Bu art to post, so that’s the good news. But I’m also a week or so late to appropriately post my birthday entry (should’ve done that LAST weekend). Regardless, I have some new stuff, so let’s get to it!

First, I did get a bit of some birthday gift-art last week, so I’ll start there – by the wonderful Wolfie Canem!

Wow! That Muscle Growth Juice is quite effective. ;3 It’s a wonderful birthday present (as is this pic, itself)! Wolfie has been making this comic sequence for folks recently on their birthdays and he was kind enough to throw me into that mix. I think the colors and shading are really top notch and it’s a fun piece to have and I’m glad Bu could be added to the collection of birthday sequences. Big thanks to Wolfie for kindly thinking of me on my big day. It really helped to cap off a pretty lovely birthday during a notably crummy year (for numerous obvious and not-so-obvious reasons). These bright spots are welcome and appreciated greatly.

Hey! Bu is back to meme-town. Neek was inspired to emulate the girl staring at guys chest meme that was going around recently. It works extremely well of course. I miss all the Bu and Nar nonsense we’ve had in years-past so this is a really great new addition to the Bu blog (and so close to my birthday, I’ll gladly consider it an appropriate part of the entry). I also do not get enough variety with Bu’s reactions in art, and this serious face will surely find a use for me in the future, lol. I’d say Raffy and I were long overdue to work together again and here is where we ended up. Raffy‘s distinct plot here is that Bu has a late-night kitchen prowler in a headlock. This poor blue guy picked the wrong kitchen, unfortunately. He might be dead, maybe just knocked out. You be the judge. Raffy has some really strong line work, the execution is really funny, and the coloring really ended up rock solid. Thanks to Raffy for the really wonderful work! You can see it posted by her HERE!

Thanks for checking in again. I appreciate those folks that still take a look here at my collection of commissions and such.
