Hey folks! Another month is going strong and Summer is upon us. I’m on the verge of living through a heatwave and I’m NOT HAPPY about it! >:C But I’m taking some time to cool down with some Bu-Blogging. I have a couple newer commissions ready to show off. Will make it a quick but spectacular entry – let’s get started!

First up is a commission from Beetle (@RATEDDEAD):

This one! I really love this one. My first commission with Beetle and hopefully not the last. This probably sounds silly but I feel like I don’t commission enough artists that do hyper muscles, at least ones with the results I like. This one, for example, is just the way I like it. Beetle made Bu a cocky little (or big, lol) hornball and it really works. The colors and shading here are so much fun and I think fit’s Bu’s whole vibe perfectly. Thanks to Beetle for doing such great work on our first go-around. More fun to come in the near future, I hope! :3

Next is a recent commission from Phantomstudio_Tommy

My second commission with Tommy is another big winner too. <3 I told him after our first commission that I wanted to do a calm and cool Bu wearing a yukata because I thought his art style would complement the concept well. I think I was right, totally great stuff! The Bu-yukata look is becoming a bit of an easy go-to when I want something classy but still showing some beefcake. I get the best of both worlds with it. I dig the look and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Tommy nailed some nice atmosphere with the dusky light and heavy shadows. Overall fantastic work. Thanks to Tommy for another great piece!
