Good August to you fine viewers! A new blog entry here for ya. :D Now it’s nearly September and summer is nearly at an end. What a fast and eventful summer it has been for me. Lots of good things happening too, thankfully. Now with my new job, I’ve been able to afford getting more commissions. Hopefully that means more Bu art and more blog entries coming real soon. I also still need to make an effort to clean up and fix a lot of my older entries on this blog. I’m getting ahead of myself though, lets get back to the new Bu art!

Up first I have a new commission from an old friend and commission artist, Kato!

I’ve commissioned Kato in the past, so it was a real treat to be able to do it again when I saw he opened commissions up! I keep it simple but fun with Kato. I get a ton of adorable and/or goofy Bu (as evident by the vast gallery I have on here)  but cool/badass Bu pics are few and far between. I get them, sure, but not enough!  I originally thought of Bu as a cool character and he pretty much involved into a fun and comedic character. I don’t mind it though. :3 I like giving Bu the best of both worlds, however, and this is a prime example of me doing just that. I love the muscle tone that Kato gave Bu. He’s lean but buff and he’s ready to strike! The colors are fun and the cel shading looks very nice. Kato is still open for commissions! Very affordable. I recommend taking a look! Up next is a Bu pic from a newcomer, Sphinx. :D

AND now we’re back to goofytard Bu. XD I simply wanted Bu being a moron, hanging out in a little pool with a goofy look on his face. That is exactly what I got. I love the look on his face and I like seeing him with sunglasses.  Sphinx did an awesome job with Bu’s physique and I also like the way he draws feet. x3 So it’s a real winner in my book. This image is simple but not plain. That’s what I like about it. It just works, so I feel like it’ll have lasting power as one of my favorite lineart commissions. I recommend checking Sphinx out. I know I’ll be attempting another commission with this fine artist again! You can see it posted HERE!

Many thanks to Sphinx for this! x3 I got this bust because I felt obligated to paying a bit more for his commissions. I always like to help support my favorite artists if I can afford to do so. Anything else is just a bonus for me and I figure everybody wins. :3 I like this one a lot. Bu has epic eyebrows! I like Sphinx‘s expressions. And with that, Summer is mostly over. Fall is on it’s way (AND my birthday! x3 Only a few weeks to go!) and I welcome the cooling temperatures and upcoming holiday season thereafter. I believe more Bu art is on the horizon. I am optimistic! Stay tuned! I have a bunch of new goodies yet to show off. Expect a lot of fun stuff in the future. Take care!
