Hellohello, my dear friends! <3 Welcome again to the Bu Blog. Okay, it’s now been a full year now, time for another Bu birthday blog entry. X3 Last year I wrote this blog entry all the way out in Hawaii. But now I am downplaying my birthday by just sittin’ in my own home, chilling by the TV and the compooter. lol Now that I am turning 24, it’s time for me to continue complaining about how I’m getting super old when I’m actually still quite young and active. XD It’s been a nice, fun day overall, though! I did get a couple new Bu images! I’ll start by showing those babies off. I’ll then show a few birthday oldies for your enjoyment!

I shall begin with an excellent gift from my buddy Sablechan!

Sablechan was using this image as a base to continue a pretty little technique forgoing the use of outlines. The result is a smooth and colorful (and buff… of course. XD) rendition of ol’ Bu!! The face is my favorite part because Sable makes him look so tough and manly. lol I’m very happy to continue to get images from Sablechan, he’s been very supportive of Bu and myself, as the Bu-maker! I appreciate everything he does, as I would with all my best buddies. X3 He is intending to collect some cash in an effort to move by the end of the year, so if you have any money, I would highly recommend commissioning him, or at least donating to his cause to GTFO of his current living situation. :D Check it here! Up next we have a birthday surprise from the awesome MJEsperandieu!

This was probably the largest surprise this year, I had commissioned MJEsperandieu just recently to help out Korde on Y! with some sudden medical expenses (which I’ll be showing off in a later entry!) and I got this as a bonus when MJE learned of my special day! This was a treat because I love MJE‘s art style, it’s lighthearted and strong, with excellent coloring! Simple concept, Bu with food, as if we don’t ever see that. XD It’s a giant Twinkie with a candle! I love how he’s taking a chunk of it. lol I’m not sure if this will always be a blog exclusive or not, but for now it is! Enjoy the beauty of the BuTwinkie. lol And you can read more and help Korde here! Thanks again, MJEsperandieu! I cannot say it enough for such short notice. <3

This is a birthday image I got from MT waaay back in 2008, right before I started this blog up, and I didn’t get around to posting last year, so now it goes here! As you can see, Bu has his usual fun, with MT‘s OC Jak not having quite as much fun, being wrapped in Bu’s tail, along on the adventure!!! XD This was nice of MT, as it was included with a commission package I got. One of my first with her. <3 The Bu face is priceless, as it can very often be. XD Thanks a bunch for this one, MT! This is pretty simple here, a lil bonus for ya! Back in 2009, Neekko did something different and baked cupcakes and decorated them for me. X3 This is not the only batch. There’s a couple more Bu cupcakes not in the image. Ain’t they cute? :3 This year we did a simple carrot cake with lemon frosting, but this one will probably stick out as a fun and different birthday treat! One sad truth, there were TOO many cupcakes for us two and we never finished them. XD A few did go bad, which I, in turn, feel bad about. Ah well. They’re so rich and sweet, which is hard to eat a lot of if you aren’t actually Dragon-Bu. XD; Neekko took this picture and posted it HERE! Thanks, as always, Neek! <3

So there we go, another closing on my birthday. I pulled this entry out last-second pretty much. D: Almost midnight here! But it was a busy and fun day. :3 If I get anything else, I may post it next time… or maybe wait for next September 18th. XD We shall see!
