Howdy, Bu Blog attendees! Welcome to yet another round of Bu stuff for you to stare at! :D Today we have a fine selection of goodies to show off, and even a special treat that is quite a fun piece. Lets get right to the fun part, shall we?? It’s officially October, and the weather is (finally) starting to chill out. Though that can’t be said for those in the Southern California area who saw temps up to 113 degrees Fahrenheit earlier this week. o3o But I digress, lets cool down together with some Bu arts.

I bring you two new images from a wonderful artist and a past buddy from blog entries past! Yep, It’s Riptide! Lets start off with a sketch commission:

Okay this is really one of the more adorable non-chibified Bu images I’ve had for the longest time. lol I mean all you have to do is look at him. You could say he’s a total abject failure, but I look at it differently! It’s Bu. He is very determined. That’s what he does, failing will not stop him from trying. In that, he’s actually not a half bad role model. XD Oh except he parties too hard for kids. This is clearly how he gets his cardio workout. Helps maintain the level of buffness that weights can’t quite reach! Getting that heart rate up. I assume he only plays when nobody can watch him epic fail at the game. He avoids looking all those Asian kids who make the game look like child’s play. He’ll figure out how to win eventually. ;) Ooh! Blog exclusive at the moment. Enjoy!

And next we have a fuller commission from Rip!

Another adorable and hilarious addition to this entry from Rip. She pins Bu’s personality down well, and now I believe this is the first time she has drawn Nar as well, which is a welcome treat. Nar’s annoyance is shown fully and accurately! lol I love the way Rip draws, really. Haha I think I said it before, but Bu (and Nar now that I see him) looks great in her style. I love the hair, and the faces, especially the noses! And Bu even is sporting a bit of the pit hair there, a rare choice by artists, I’ve seen! Oh and I have to give respect to the background! It’s really nice. Backgrounds are hard and another rare treat from artists. This isn’t the first time this situation has happened but I felt like I wanted it re-imagined. And heck, I like seeing Bu get some satisfaction off of Nar’s misfortune. LOL Though as I always say, Narugi will definitely get some revenge, and someday I am sure we’ll see. Another Blog exclusive! I hope Riptideposts these awesome works, as she hasn’t for any of the Bu pics, but until the day comes, you can enjoy these two pics here alone. :D

And now for a really special treat, feast your eyes on a little secret thing Neekko and I have had for over a year but I am bringing it now!

This was all started because we love jellybeans. And of course we thought it’d be funny to see the OCs all… “beanified!” We made this into a screensaver that I’ve continued to use to this day. Bu is a green apple flavored bean and Nar is… ugh… popcorn flavored. D: This was made around the time The Sims 3 came out, and we took inspiration on how the characters talk and communicate with talk bubbles while they speak their simlish. We have had a growing amount of subjects pop up. They’re random too. BeanBu could talk about cake, and BeanNar could talk about how he wants to stab BeanBu with a knife. Just watch and see the assortment of random things they’ll talk about. The amount of subjects continues to grow for our screensavers. I dunno if this is all of them, but you’ll see some of them up here! Neekko had to embed this flash and not upload, so enjoy it here! The only place it’ll probably ever be. <3 (OH and yes… this would explain the weirdass title I made for this blog entry, I hope. lol)
