Hello, friends! Thanks for checking in with the Bu Blog again. I must apologize as I have left this place absent for the past few weeks. x_x Two weeks ago, I just had a stint of busyness and also laziness, somewhat. I never managed to get to it last week because of the local furry convention, Anthrocon. WHICH brings me to the topic of today’s blog entry, which I am excited to present! Just as I did last year, I attended the con and bought a bunch of commissions! This was actually my fourth time attending and it was the best so far. The commissions were fun too, of course. Lets get right to that part shall we? :D

This sketch is great, but my scanner PISSES me off. lol I spent a long time rescanning all the pictures and this one gave me the hardest time. But still, Bahamut did a really nice job with this baby! Bu has a very large bottle and he is feeling a lil bubbly. X3 Bahamut was the last person I commissioned this past weekend but it was a great way to end a great weekend, for sure. Thanks a lot buddy! I hope the viewers like it as much as I did.

So first off, Cooner should be someone you remember quite well if you remember the badge I ordered last year specifically for this convention posted here. He is a very friendly, cool guy who manages to get a really fun and even buffer version of Bu than normal! This one we did manage to weave a small story into it. Simply put, Bu went to get a heavy duty workout. Little did he know that he worked much harder than he expected. This is the moment he realized how effective his routine went, just as his clothes pretty much waved bye-bye. XD You can expect more from Cooner someday! Keep an eye out. Thanks to him for giving me the chance to get this. This will eventually be posted, but for now, exclusive!

I’ve seen Krhainos do these Droid images/badges for the past year and since then wanted one of my own. I passed by his table at Anthrocon and there we go! I knew now was a great opportunity. I, for one, prefer Android powered phones over those silly fruit-based phone brands. This was a great way to show off my love for the phone system I’ll stick with for as long as I can! Be sure to check out Krhainos‘ FA page to see if he’s open for these, because it’s totally worth it! Bu is officially Droid-powered, baby! :D

Mr. Mongo is a guy I’ve know on dA for quite a long time, so it was a real treat to meet him in the flesh for the first time. I also seized the opportunity of getting him to draw in my sketchbook, commission-style! This isn’t my first commission from Mongo, but it’s the first one I posted. Expect the first commission I got soon. ;3 Both have a similar theme in mind… FOOD! As if that’s a new concept, right? Mongo is definitely fantastic with traditional media, and I hope this can fully show just how well he does at it. The muscle work he does is also excellent! Hopefully this will not be the last commission I get from him. This one, like all the rest today, is a blog exclusive!
And that (besides the random con swag I got) is all of the sketches and pics I got this past weekend at Anthrocon. You’ll see more stuff like this next year when I check out my fifth year. Exciting times! I met a lot of new and old faces and had a whole lot of fun.
I am already prepared for next week! You guys will be in for a good one. Something I have wanted for a very long time. It’s finally here and I can’t wait to show it off. X3 As I always say, THANKS a ton for checking this out and to the people who lovingly comment too. I cannot appreciate it more. The viewership always keeps me going. Have a good 4th of July weekend! The Bu with the donut, is my fav since it shows the traditional media soo good!!! I miss my color pencils D: and the other Bu´s are pretty funny and……beffy °A° (i love those Android wings xD)
Yes I am sorry to leave you for so long! :C My Bu count is low!! Pics are hard to scrounge up. You’ll see an awesome one next week though!

I’m glad you like everything, Dev! :D The buffness, donut, and Droid wings… they are all very good things to have. I love Droid Bu’s hair the most on that pic, personally. XD It looks poofy!

I like the BeastlyBahamut one a lot. Bu looks drunk on Pepsi! :P Would be great if they made bottles that big. (Oh the resulting zits though!) XD
The Mr. Mongo image has a very nice story book feel to the coloring. He does some great muscles! It’s funny, when the image is shrunk on the blog page, the donut looks like big bu lips! :P
Oh gosh I would not get a mobile device with Bu on it! He would forever be messing with my privacy! XD
The one by Cooner is really grand. A lot of great expression in this image! You should color it.
Yes I have been a bit away for awhile, I’ve done it a bunch this year. Weekly updates can get tough. lol And sometimes my Bu supply can be a bit loooow. It’s weeks like this where I am a bit rejuvenated because I have a bunch of pics now!
Bu manufactures his own 200 fl. oz. bottles of whatever he wants! Unfortunately the health nuts out there would never let him mass produce that stuff. XD;
LOL Bu lips. That’s bad, thankfully he’s just stuffing his face as usual.
Oh man, I dunno if I could color that pic, I know I’d never be able to do that sketch justice. D: lol plus sketches are less clean, I’d wanna have it inked first! I’ll just commission him again someday. lol
