Heyo! Bu Blog time again. :3 So, March is nearly coming to a close and spring is starting up on cue. With that comes seasonal-related common cold problems, it seems, since I am feeling a bit under the weather. But that won’t stop me from my duties of posting some recent Bu art! Actually all the art today is from 2016 that I’ve been meaning to post for a long while. Now then, let’s just get right to it. ;3

First up is a commission from Skullslime!

Here is this one! This was, I think, my second commission with Skillslime and I just wanted something beefy. :D I think Skullslime does a solid job at nailing Bu’s look and I always say that is something to value in an artist. The minimal colors is actually one of the best things here, in my opinion. Just some green and read with an orange background. Very stylish! Thanks, Skullslime, for another nice pic. <3 I’m sure there will be more to post in the future!

Next is a sketch from Shenanigan!

Here is actually a WIP of a picture that was to be a short comic commission with Shen that ended up getting sent to the back-burner. It’s a simple concept with Bu flying home and running into some misfortune along the way. I’m not sure if we’ll get to finish the comic but in case we don’t I wanted to be sure to show off more of Shen‘s amazing work. <3 It’s the usual stuff that I like. The beefiness and the adorable face. It’s a timeless combo that I will never get tired of. Thanks to Shen for always providing me with some of the best Bu art I have. <3

There’s always time for a happy face, I say. :D My commission here is one simply of Bu happily dreaming of chicken snacks. I love the look of utter joy and excitement that Dumpy imbued Bu with in this situation. I am a sucker for traditional art and Dumpy‘s linework is stellar. Besides the expression, Bu’s eyes are my favorite parts of this piece. <3 Thank you, Dumpy, for taking the time to draw some ol’ Bu for me.

Bu’s face here… XD There is a reason for this goofy look he has. MT was inspired by a silly design on a package of sour gummies I tweeted. It had an emoji face that looked a heck of a lot like the face Bu is making here. Thus, MT had a good idea. lol The funny thing is that the expression is 100% fitting for Bu and that’s probably why it just looks right. It’s always a big honor to have artists like MT draw up the goofiest of the Bu pictures. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

A bunch of really great pics this time around. I hate to keep all my pic descriptions so brief but I gotta make sure to post something simple and quickly! There will be more great pics to come!
