Happy March, folks! Winter is over and spring time is back. With that, I bring you a new wave of Bu art! :D It’s been such a busy month that I almost didn’t get this entry in before the end of it. I hate whipping out these entries without giving due time to write about how much I love them. Hopefully the love is evident, regardless. x3 There’s some stellar new commissions coming soon. Up today there’s some ones that are actually from the past couple years. Let’s get started!

First up is a pic by EPASketch!

This is a commission I got last year from EPASketch and I was so happy to have the opportunity. Nothing is more fun in some Bu commissions than some good ol’ fashioned muscle growth! I think EPASketch provided me with one of the best ones I have yet, because Bu is so beefy and the ripped clothes look really realistically shredded. x3 The pose and expression also bring a lot of personality to Bu’s situation, if I do say so myself. Lastly, the coloring for this pic is top notch and really caps off the pic in the best way. Thanks to EPASketch for another great commission! Hopefully there’ll be more in the not-too-distant future. <3

Next is a pic/avatar I got from Sprech4!

Bu loves his donuts! This is the first of two headshot/avatar commissions I got from Sprech4 last year. I am so satisfied with how well she is able to capture Bu’s passion for baked goods. (Donuts make Bu go nuts.) The expression Bu has here is so great, I adore it. I can’t tell you how glad I am when artists I admire are able to understand and illustrate Bu’s personality even when I may not be as descriptive as I wish I would be with commissions. You’ll see more Bu art from Sprech4 soon! I can’t wait to get more. :3

Last is an avatar I got from Omegaro/Rho!

Icon created by Omegaro

I can’t believe I did not yet post this one! This is a Paper Mario themed commission I got from Rho. I admire the style and really liked the idea of fitting Bu into that paper world. Bu would more than likely be off on his own 2D misadventure while Mario is busy doing his princess-saving routine. The best thing about this theme is that there’s definitely lasting value. As in, the Paper Mario style has stayed fairly consistent for years now and I don’t think this look is pinned on one particular game but the series as a whole. Thank you to Rho for giving me such a fun and adorable icon. <3

That’s it for today! I always appreciate folks that stop by to see my newest posts! I also now have nearly a DECADE of blog entries in the archives! It’s pretty crazy to me just realizing that I’ve been doing these blog entries for so long and that Bu, as a character, is now over 10 years old. I’m so glad to have made it this far. x3 Anyways, enough talk from me, see you in April!!
