Hey guys! Happy new year to you. We’re now full-steam ahead on the 2018 train and it’s going to be a year full of Bu art, I hope! 2017 was actually a pretty big year for Bu art. I managed to commission a whole lot of wonderful stuff. We have a lot of 2017 stuff that I haven’t posted. Here’s three of them now!!

First up today is my commission from Sprech4!

This is definitely a favorite of 2017 Bu commissions. x3 I enjoy dabbling in the Samurai Bu theme from time to time. I also like to play into an artists strengths, if I know them well enough and have a good idea to back it up. As such… here we are! I love the colors and the post a lot here. I also kinda enjoy Bu’s hair like that. <3 This picture has a whimsical edge that kept it as my desktop wallpaper for awhile! Thanks to Sprech4 for another wonderful commission! I’m sure we’ll see more in the future! Actually, I do believe I have a couple icons from Sprech4 to post still. Stay tuned for those!

Next is a commission from SXFPantera!

This is a good one! :D I only now had an opportunity to commission SXFPantera. This is a rare “nude but not really NSFW” pics of Bu. x3 I love the relaxed pose and the beefy muscles, but I am sure that comes as no surprise to anybody. I also think the wings are some of the best Bu wings I’ve seen recently! The arms have some girth to them, which I always appreciate. <3 Thanks a ton to SXFPantera for this wonderful commission!! This is a bit of a bonus that I didn’t get in time for last month’s entry, but I thought it appropriate enough to put here now. Shen was kind enough to send a card to me and Neek around Christmastime. It included this beautiful drawing of Bu and Nar looking goofy and adorable as heck. <3 I love traditional art and I’m honestly surprised that my scanner did the colors justice. I love these boys! Thanks again, Shen, for always bringing me the best Bu art!
