Hey, everyone! Long time, no see. After an extended hiatus, I have returned to bring around more Bu art. I didn’t intend to take so long to get a new entry, it’s just been a crazy busy year with work, moving into a new home (which was its own hellish nightmare), and a sluggish few months on getting new commissions. I’m hoping things are slowing down as we hit the fall season and I’m aiming to get more commissions from my favorite artists sometime very soon! I appreciate any and all of the readers who have stuck around. :3

This is technically my birthday blog entry! So let us start off with a birthday gift I received from CyanJellyArt!

A gift! I’m the absolute worst with gift art. I welcome it always but I’m always humbled when someone cares enough to put in all that work and actually do it for me – so thank you to CJ for such a kind gesture and for a very beautiful colorful Bu! CJ gave Bu a bright and soft-looking texture and I really appreciate it, especially because it suits his cartoonish personality and sensibilities. Thanks again to CJ for this wonderful present during my very stressful season!

What we have here is high school anime juvenile delinquent Bu! It’s a theme I haven’t used enough but I really love it when I get it. DE4THPUNCH‘s first run at Bu ended up being very successful. I love the way the pose turned out and they captured that high school bad boy look so incredibly well – the outfit, from the belt to the outdoor sandals just really sells it big time. I’d like to think Bu’s a big bad tough guy but actually a very lovable softie once you get to know him. x3 Lots of love to DE4THPUNCH for bringing this to life and doing an all-around awesome job. I hope we’ll have an opportunity to see more in the future!

Another one from JoshSphinx! Another wonderful example of really nicely drawn gift art that I feel I don’t deserve but am always ever so thankful to get it. The big pointy ears always end up being a hit for me, I love it. :B Thanks to JoshSphinx for always thinking of me and ol’ Bu! <3

That’ll do it for the month of September, I think. I have a healthy handful of new art still left that I need to show off! I’m aiming on getting some of those out in October (and not 7 months from now, like last time lol).
