Heyo, friends! It’s that day once again. Mah birthday. x3 This is the fifth birthday entry that I have done! I am really surprised I’ve been doing this Bu Blog for that long. I always eternally appreciate the love you folks pass along to me. <3 I do put a lot of emphasis on my birthday because I think your birthday should be a day to celebrate you! So I do what I can to treat myself today. I know plenty of people who don’t get a crap about their birthdays. Definitely understandable, but I think it’s just a part of life that you gotta celebrate! I did already get some very loving gift art from friends, so let me show you them!

First is the big ‘un from Neekko!

This was a very pleasant Bu-Man surprise from Neek this morning. <3 This image contains both a pose inspired by the Jim Lee illustration of Batman but also puts some focus on the best pizza commercial ever. The cherry on top for this gift was that Neek also printed in into a high quality poster. x3 So someday very soon (while I wait for the paper to flatten out) it shall adorn my wall with the rest of the Bu art. Bu-Man suitably fits into this pose and he evens out the moody themes with some of his typical food-obsessed mania. This was another surprise! I’ve always admired Gigan‘s work and loved to commission him in the past. I hope to do so someday soon too! In the time being, Gigan kindly threw a quick pic my way and I couldn’t be more honored. <3 Bu has a very manly face but still maintains an air of the sensitive male. If that… makes sense. lol. Plus it’s fun to see him balance on his tail like that. It’s a straight-up cool pose! This pic also happens to be a blog exclusive one, so I hope you enjoy! Thanks again to Gigan for the surprise. Another honor! I love gift art. I don’t demand it, but I love when people care enough to do it for me. I’m definitely not worthy of the love. ;_; Another image with Bu being super talented with his tail! I assume that Bu made the entire cake with his tail. Posed like that. Wearing that. Makes perfect sense!! DarkAndriod presents some excellent Bu muscles here and I can’t love that more. <3 Bu needs to stop with the sexy pin-up poses because people are gonna demand a calendar! Last but FAR from least was a recent surprise from Shenanigan.

It’s Bu holding back a huge laugh! Shen made this for me a week prior to my birthday but I am going to go ahead and consider it a birthday pic. <3 There are definitely a lot of artists who nail the essence of Bu and how I like him to be portrayed. Shen is in the upper tier of those who completely get him 100% if anything for the actions and expressions only. I adore the face and it is nothing less than a look I imagine Bu would have when he’s holding back a riotous chuckle. I could not resist making it my Twitter icon. That’ll wrap up another solid Birthday blog entry. I want to thank everyone who drew some Bu for me! Even those who just wished me a Happy Birthday, it means a lot to me that people remember me and wish me well. I think that’s one of the things that keeps me going. <3 I think I’ll have a few birthday themed commissions I bought that I’ll be getting soon, so expect those and more next time here at the Bu Blog!
