Hey, folks! Oh nooooooo. Here I am, still in this state of eternal quasi-quarantine. At least the weather is starting to cool down again and the holiday season is quickly approaching. No real way to tell whether it’ll be a good holiday season. Odds are not in it’s favor. D: Well, regardless of all that, I do need to get out a new blog entry. So here we are and here come the newest slate of Bu pics!

First up is a commission from StuppidBunny!

I love how this one came out! :D I’m always trying the best I can to seek out artists I’ve not worked with and that I think will understand the character. I certainly have a few artists I love to frequent often, but sometimes you have to spread out. I’m glad I found StuppidBunny when they were open for commissions. I think they nailed Bu’s personality perfectly. We have a simple, fun pose and bright colors. Plus he is appropriately beefy! So it’s a win all across the board. I will definitely have to keep my eyes open for when StuppidBunny opens for commissions again. So there’s always the chance we’ll see more coming soon. >:3 Thanks, StuppidBunny!

Next up is a big of gift art I got some time ago from Rafleshia!

It warms my heart to get art from longtime internet friends. <3 I believe this one is from around 2017 and is overdue to be posted here! Raffy has always been kind enough to whip up some really great art for me and I think this one’s a fun representation of my interests. XD Oh, and this is a bit of an experiment with Bu’s back, perhaps. I rarely have commissions where you can see the whole situation with his tail going through the pants, and this was Raffy‘s interpretation of how it probably looks. Certainly is a valid possibility. I keep bringing them out because it turns out I have more of a backlog of sketches than I realize, and Sphinx drew up so many for me. XD Not that I’m complaining of course. I’m also afraid of reposting ones. But from what I can tell, this one should be new here. Unfortunately not dated, but I think it’s approximately from 2016? Truly, I have to make a tally of how many images of Bu include food and snacks. I assume more than half, lol. These are some really lovely sketches with excellent work focused on the face and expressions. I love it! Thanks to Sphinx for all his hard work, once again!

That’s another wrap on the blog! I’ve had so many awesome commissions this year that it feels weird to admit that my well is starting to run a tad dry. Not to fear! I actually do have a few new commissions in the early stages and hope to have something new and wonderful for next time. Until then, have a good one!
