Hey, everybody! April has come and gone, and I’ve spent about 95% of that time in my home with minimal physical contact from other people. What a wild ride it has been, huh? ^^; Well, the world may be a bit out of whack right now but the land of Bu is business… er… BUsiness as usual. ;3 Lets get to some recent Bu art!

First, we have a new commission courtesy of Luxuris!

This is (I think) the third commissions I’ve received from Luxuris but the first one in nearly a decade! That’s a scary reminder of just how long I’ve been doing this whole thing. A lot of art of this green dude over the past 10 years. I think Luxuris has maintained a style that I see in both this and my past pics by him, but more crisp and refined now. This is a simple posed picture but executed so well. Luxuris gave Bu such a angular, manly face and I totally dig it. <3 Fantastic anatomy and colors abound! Thanks to Luxuris! Hopefully we won’t wait another 10 years for another!

Similarly with the first pic this month, my last legit commission from Zombiesmile was somewhere between 5 to 7 years ago, maybe? It’s been a pretty long time. I’ve loved everything Zombiesmile has done so I’m glad to get back to it with her! She always takes my basic ideas and creates some real creative energy into it. Simple enough chibi commission concept. Snobby Bu enjoying tea in a stereotypical British fashion, monocle included! :0 I expect this would make a good reaction image for me when I have an snobby opinion to make, lol. Thanks again, Zombiesmile! Let’s hope we don’t wait another 5 to 7 years to work together again!

My last commission with Zillabean was a not-so-distant two months ago, so it’s a little different than one others above. XD I’ll always seize a chance to commission Zilla when I can. I wanted something with Bu-man. So here he is enjoying a donut. It’s a simple head-shot sketch so Zilla worked within that scope and delivered something fun and adorable! That donut looks so fluffy! I hope perhaps we’ll see a full Bu-man image from Zilla someday because I dig the look here. <3 Thank you again, Zilla!!!
