Good day blog-friends! It’s officially May and the weather is starting to warm up. What better way to bring in the spring (and inevitable summer) days than with some new Bu art! I have a bunch of new images which I am happy to submit here. I’ll do a few today and then continue with them as the months go on! I let a few of them accumulate over the past few months and I think I better let them out for the public to enjoy. Welllll… I think most/all these pics are available online somewhere technically… nevermind. ANYWAYS, lets begin!

I start today with an adorable lil Bu-Man by Zombiesmile!

Pocket-sized Bu-Man to the rescue! Looks like the only rescuing he’s doing though is his own dinner. I assume he stole a chicken drumstick from someone’s picnic and is making a run for it! I never feel disappointed by a Zombiesmile Bu pic. Always happy with the results. Zombie perfectly captured a heroic flying Bu-Man. The drumstick itself is all juicy looking too, which in itself is wonderfully done! <3 Top this pic off perfectly with some neat, bright colors! From there we have Pocket Bu-Man flying off to his little Bu cave to enjoy his chicken snack. Hope to get more from Zombiesmile soon! She posted it and other commission images HERE!

Next my first commission by Jakface!

I rather enjoy ACEO commissions! Their overall size isn’t particularly great because they are roughly 2 to 3 inches but that in itself is cool because artists fit so much into such a small space! Jak did just that on this image! Oh and I get to keep the originals of my ACEOs, so yay for that! This is my first time working with Jak and I thought this was the best way to see how Bu looks drawn by Jak. Ringing this in as a success! She captured Bu’s silly ways perfectly. I really do love the mini-donuts on each finger. I really do hope to get more work done by Jak in the near future. Meanwhile you can see where Jak posted this, right HERE!

Lastly today, I have another image from another first-time artist! It’s from Novra!

I am happy to get new artists into my Bu-Blog and I am even happier when I feel glad to have the opportunity to work with them multiple times. x3 This is one of four images I commissioned from Novra already. I’ll be showing off the other pics later! They’ll have at least a bit more story! In the meantime I started things off easy with a basic buff-Bu pin-up image! Happy with the results, I am! I think I might try to squeeze in another blog entry before the end of May. Lately I’ve been doing just once a month but thanks to the opportunity to get more Bu commissions… I might try to squeeze in one more this month!
