Happy New Year! I hope you guys had a great 2013 and I hope your 2014 will be just as great if not better. This was a pretty good year for me. I didn’t have as much Bu art as I had hoped, but I do think I managed to afford a bunch of new commissions. Things have slowed down here at the ol’ Bu Blog. That’s primarily because of how busy my life has gotten. Also, my seemingly never-ending supply of Bu pics has started to drain up. In other words, I’ve caught up! I have some extra pics I should dump in here sometime. That will be a New Years Bu Blog resolution, I say. Before that, lets show off a couple new pics!

This one is fun. I would say I am the first to admit that I usually jump at a commission opportunity before coming up with any ideas. Bu pic ideas usually take forever for me to scheme up. I need to expand my imagination a bit, I guess! Thankfully a somewhat half-baked concept ended up looking a heck of a lot better than I even imagined in my mind when Sphinx too control. x3 Bu is so happy for Christmas presents that he is riding this one all the way home. lol Why’s he not wearing pants? Don’t think about it! Just let it happen. I like the ribbon censoring. Bu looks like he’s having fun too, which is another plus. XD So, many thanks to Sphinx for doing such a great job taking my idea to the next level. <3 You can see it posted HERE!

Neekko and I finally have new icons on Y!Gallery! I am happy to say this. I really did love our old icons, but they’re all the way from 2009 and I think a change was very much due. The story here? Bu got the wrong kind of milk and decided to play around with it and annoy Nar! Yeah… that’s what is happening in this image. What did you think was happening? Hmmmm???? Neek does a bang-up job on Bu and Nar’s faces here. The best way to describe Bu’s face in my opinion is “x3” lol. I love the shiny coloring job here as well. Super job, Neeks! <3 This one was posted where it’s most relevant, of course. Right HERE!

Cutting it short today. Getting back to finishing my last day off for a looong time. :C Now that 2014 is upon is, there’s plenty of time for new things! Hopefully this will be a year that you and I will really enjoy. There is a lot of potential, for sure. Here’s to hoping I can get tons of new Bu art too! I’ll be keeping up the Bu Blog when I do, of course! This site has been running strong for just over 4 years (wow! >_>) and I thank you all for sticking by! Take care. <3
