Well hey hey hey! Bu here again. Time for my annual Anthrocon wrap-up blog entry! Seven whole years of posting these here. I’m impressed by that. o3o This year was a really good one. Got a few really great commissions! My only regret is that I am often too afraid to try new people out. I usually go for my usual artists. Not a bad thing. They are all awesome. But I do wish I’d take more leaps of faith with Bu art. It’s not easy though. Trying to get as many commissions as possible in just two-three days is not an easy feat! :0 Well what’s done is done. Lets get to it!

First, I have my annual convention badge by Neekko!

Hey, it’s a Bu?! Neekko almost always does badges for us both for the convention. This year, it’s chibi-Bu! I think he has a ridiculously cute “hanging from something like a Christmas tree ornament” look. <3 Thanks Neek, for always delivering the cutest Bu badges on the planet!

Next up I got a sketch from Shenanigan!

OH NO! It keeps happening! All I asked Shen for was to make Bu super beefy and with ripped clothes. My favorite things. :3 She delivered what I wanted flawlessly! Shen always makes Bu adorable, which is enough cause to keep coming back. Nothing beats getting traditional art from talented artists. <3 Honestly I like when an artist draws Bu with realistic muscular physique… but I also adore having Bu drawn with over-the-top puffy muscles! I like to have the best of both worlds, so to speak. Shen nails that puffy muscle look so well and I’ll keep coming back for more. :D Thanks a billion, Shen!

Hey, a second badge in one post! I love getting art from Cooner at AC. He delivers a hella-manly looking Bu. x3 Really great muscles and a really attractive face, that’s what I like to see in Bu. He’s a goofball when he wants to be, but he can also be a real charmer when he tries hard enough. lol That’s my logic to make this look fit his personality. I wouldn’t be surprised to see more Cooner art again soon! We’ll have to see. <3 Thanks for this one, Cooner!

Finally, we have a rough WIP sketch from Unknownwolf!

This is more of a WIP, but it’s a commission that’s in my convention sketchbook… SO here it is! This is due to be a finalized image in a later blog entry. For now, here’s Unny‘s super beefy Tarzan-Bu! He knows how to whip up a really fun Bu image and I felt like the Tarzan theme was a suitable choice for him. There’ll be more to see soon, but for now I present this really cool sketch WIP for your viewing pleasure. Thanks to Unny for doing such a great job!

And that wraps up this year’s Anthrocon. I’m happy with the results, to say the least. Can’t wait for next year! That also puts this entry to a close.
