Good day, friends! As the weekend wraps itself up, I being unto you a new set of Bu images from some really great artist-pals. :3 April is also on it’s way out and we’re getting to May. 2012 is just flyin’ by. Before you know it, we’ll be back into the cooler months. We are just about to hit the summer movie season. While this site may not be the one-stop shop for the hit films in the coming months, it is at hot spot for breaking new action-packed Bu! Now we shall get right to that!

I begin with quite the pretty piece, a new one from Astrozerk!

This started off with me wanting to do another silly Bu image with Astro, but then I decided it would be fun if I had Neekko help me apply Narugi into the situation. SO I thought another beach-based imaged would be suitable. In this case I was inspired to see how the two would react in a “ship-wrecked on a deserted island” situation. I took away some characteristics, Bu only being around at night only mostly. We also figured Bu forgot he can fly and Nar forgot that he can breathe fire. lol Now that they crashed the… S.S. Goofballs, (adequately named, yes.) they are left to survive! Bu does it by keeping calm and enjoying what cards of fate he is dealt. Nar does not appreciate that it requires him to be totally unhelpful. I enjoy having Bu making a loincloth of his pants when they got mostly destroyed like that. lol I should apply that fashion statement again sometime. Astro was able to apply it well. The colors and scenery are also things I feel like Astro did a great job on. <3 There was a lot of artist freedom I try to give and usually works well. Things like Bu fanning himself with the tail and the ship title were not my own ideas but I love when artists care enough to add little things that add to the whole experience. I was very happy to have had the chance to commission MT again so soon! This was exclusively a sketch collage commission. So we have a lot of great cool Bu-and adorable-Bu images all in one submission! I admit that I have more to say towards the chibi images because they’re so darned cute. X3 But even the full Bu pics look awesome. MT does a great job at showing the full spectrum of emotions and attitudes of my character, which is certainly something MT does with all diverse characters. The love struck Bu and Bu eating the donuts (almost like an animal) are my two favorites. Which are your favorites? ^3^ You can see MT‘s excellent set of Dragon-Bu HERE as well!

I am going to call it a day on the Bu blog! I have some more quality commissions yet to show, and I hope to continue to get more through May. We shall see what happens, eh? I also continue to work on this site. Everything pre-2011 is still a little undone and many images need to be re-uploaded for them to show up properly. Have no fear!
