Hello again, my friends! I return with a brand new set of Bu pics for your viewing pleasure. I’ve been fortunate enough to get a handful of new things, so now I can throw them your way. ;3 I am also gonna throw in a classic image’s sketch, for the heck of it. And so spring hits this week, things will start warming up! I gotta get this blog warmed up too! We’ll see what we can do for today, eh?

We start now with a brand-new commission. My first one with the talented artist Guppo!

This is definitely one of my most recent favorites. Only my first time commissioning Guppo and already I like the possibilities for future commissions! <3 Guppo has a firm grasp on muscles and colors/shading. Put those together and it’s a pure win to me! We kept this simple for a basic pin-up style image. Sometimes (I must admit) I often want to see someone draw Bu and I neglect to think of a clever image idea. With new artists, I often purely want to just see how they make Bu look. I certainly like it here. His whole torso and the arms are awesome and I like the legs too. Pink isn’t really my favorite color, I’d say, but it strangely goes well with Bu’s skin! Bottom line… it’s just great. I recommend a commission from Guppo, if you have the chance. I know I’ll try again sometime! Thanks, Guppo! Looks like at this moment this remains a blog exclusive image!

Up next we have an image celebrating Narugi’s birthday, from Neekko!

This pic is specifically relevant to the end of February, right after my last blog entry, previous to this one. February 29th is Narugi’s birthday. Sadly for him, 2013 is not a leap year. NO February 29th this year. That didn’t stop Bu in this image from Neekko! He made a cake. X3 All for Nar. How he managed to get that sneaky and super-close to Nar is anybody’s guess. I have no clue! It’s pretty adorable though, right? Best Birthday Friends Forever! I particularly like Narugi’s arm here and also how you can see Bu through the shirt. Must be a tight squeeze. I can only hope the shirt survives this, as I am not 100% sure he has any spare shirts… Anyways, you can see Neekko‘s submission HERE and HERE!

Last one for the evening is a sketch from MTCopyright! An oldie but a goodie.

I wanted to bring back this classic piece from MT, originally submitted to the Bu Blog a LONG time ago. I love the sketch process, and having as many sketches of commissions as I can. This one looks great, I always loved the pose and also the close-up of Bu’s face here for the sake of a tribal marking ref. I hope to get more big things from MT sometime soon! <3 It’s been too long. For now, let’s enjoy the wondrous things I already have, such as this. Thanks, as always, MT! :3

That’s a wrap for today! I hope you enjoyed! I have so much less adult material to show, but every once and awhile, they’ll pop up! I think I’m less into it than I used to be, but it’s fun in small doses. I just find cleaner art easier to come up with funny situations. We’ll see what happens in the future! My job situation has become far more ominous that it was in years past. Business isn’t good (and I hate the job too), so the job hunt goes into high gear! We’ll see if I am fortunate enough to get a new, better job that pays more so I can get more Bu art!!! Wish me luck. <3
