Hey, gang! Bu here with another blog entry! I regretfully fell behind on making an entry for August and I nearly missed my shot to get one in for September. I did NOT want to break my combo any further than that. I’m only a couple months from the 10th anniversary of the Bu blog, which completely blows my mind. This is a birthday blog entry but I don’t really have any birthday Bu art to showcase, unfortunately. I do have some art to show, regardless. So lets get to it!

This is one of my rare 2019 commissions! I took the opportunity to commission an artist that I’ve never worked with before. It’s all too rare that I take that leap now-a-days. I did just that here with Keanu! Nothing complicated, just beefy Bu enjoying pizza. Keanu did a wonderful job bringing Bu to life. The tiny wings are actually a nice choice mostly reserved for chibi Bu pics but are a fun element here. x3 Thanks to Keanu for helping me to finally get some new Bu art! Hopefully more to come!!

This is a sketch of a commission idea Shen and I were batting around a long time ago and then I realized that I don’t think I’ve ever posted it before. It’s Bu of the Jungle! I love the pose so much and his puffed out chest. It definitely reminds me of some old-school Hanna-Barbera cartoon, which is an awesome touch that I don’t see a lot with Bu. All wonderful stuff! <3 Thanks to Shen for continued awesome Bu pics, even sketches like this.

This is a WIP of a commission I posted a couple years back and I am mostly just using this as an excuse to showcase the pic again, haha. That and I’d love the opportunity to commission Dongsaeng again. Until then, I have this (and a couple other) wonderful pieces to enjoy. I hope you like it as much as I do!
