Happy August, folks! The peak of the year has now passed and we’re closing in on the fall season, which I am excited for. I’ve always preferred the cool-down of the world over the warm-up. Anyways, we’re still a ways away from all that, so let us stick to the here and now with some recent Bu art!

The focus this entry will be on some new Neekko-produced Bu images. Let’s get started!

This Bu pic was created by Neekko to showcase an alternate view of the the May 23rd “Walk of Shame” event online. This is the snapshot of a character as they leave after a night of… lovemaking might be the nicer word. The catch here is that Bu has no shame whatsoever. This is Bu’s “Walk of Victory!” Bu seems to be more comfortable in his own skin than almost anybody else. I love the walking pose and anatomy that Neekko applies here. His happy, accomplished face and poofy hair only add to that. It goes without saying that he probably feels like this a lot. Lots of love to Neekko for whipping this one up! Perfectly suitable to Bu’s personality. You can see this image also posted HERE!

This one was made because I asked Neekko for an image of Bu when he was devastated and/or having a bad day. The most logical way to convey that concept is the image above. The tears just welling up and the pouty lips. That and the sunken ears. Poor lil guy! D: I particularly like the bulky appearance to his tail and the toes poking out from under his pant bottoms. Adorable and yet sad all at the same time. Now if only somebody could just get Bu another slice of pizza!! Thanks, Neek, for another wonderful lil pic. <3
